Shear Kindness

Shear Kindness is a community-rooted initiative founded by LaKai Jackson, a professional barber, with a passion for using grooming as a tool for empowerment. What began as a mission to give back through free haircuts has grown into a movement to create safe, affirming spaces where people feel seen, supported, and confident.

Through pop-up events, youth workshops, and school appearances, Shear Kindness provides not only professional grooming services, but mentorship and education—especially for underserved individuals, families, and aspiring barbers. Every haircut is more than a service; it's an opportunity to build connection, restore dignity, and plant seeds of self-worth.
